It looks to me like it still gives the volumes for .co.uk, as you can pick your country at the top? As for the keyword suggestions though, I’m not finding them that great either. I’m looking into others at the moment – will let you know if I find anything!

I think the overall functionality and interface of the tool is better.
One thing i do miss from the previous tool is lack of longtail keyword suggestions… Because google is now only using .com volumes, the amount of keyword options is substantially reduced. Any idea on a good way to find relevant longtail keywords now?
